CEO – Natasha Oglesby BN, MMid

With extensive experience working in maternity, Natasha brought valuable experience and knowledge to the Babywatch™ development team. “I could no longer stand back and watch the real and potential infant identification errors that were happening around me. This was not only happening in hospitals where I worked in the UK and Australia, but countless reports of infant identification errors were becoming more and more prevalent around the world”.

Natasha has worked in UK and Australian hospitals since 2000. After an early career working as a Maternity Nurse, she became extremely passionate about birthing and the safety of newborn babies. After studying her Masters of Midwifery in 2004, she continued to pursue her passion for birthing and maternity care, while researching and developing an innovative solution to the problem that existed in managing infant identification in our hospitals. As well as being passionate about midwifery and the safety of infants, Natasha is a mother of 5 daughters and truly understands what it is like to be a parent of a newborn and the impact of potential infant identification errors on families.
